Generation counts are rounded down at 30 credits per basic generation. Yearly credits are granted once per paid year, not every month. Check the cost shown in the workspace before generating.
Plans, credits, and existing subscriptions
How are monthly and yearly credits granted?
Monthly plans grant credits after the first successful payment and each monthly renewal. Yearly plans grant the full annual allowance after the first annual payment and each annual renewal. The yearly total is not a monthly allowance. Subscription credits expire at the end of the paid billing period.
Do unused credits expire?
Subscription credits expire at the end of their paid billing period and do not roll over. Signup credits do not expire. Additional credit packs have their own expiration terms. During the planned migration, unused, unexpired old credits will be converted at 1 old credit to 6 new credits, keeping their original expiration dates. Previously permanent credits will remain permanent.
How many credits does a generation cost?
In Create, Subtle costs 30 credits, Balanced costs 40 credits, and Bold costs 50 credits per generation. Plan generation counts are based on Subtle at 30 credits and rounded down. For every mode, check the cost shown in the workspace before generating.
Can I cancel or change my subscription?
You can turn off automatic renewal from billing. Your paid benefits remain available until the end of the current period. You can continue generating with unused, unexpired credits afterward. Under the planned legacy-plan rules, switching to a new plan or letting the old subscription expire ends access to the old offer; it cannot be selected or restored later.
What happens to my existing Standard monthly plan?
The public prices above are for new subscriptions. The planned migration preserves the existing Standard monthly price of $9.99 for eligible customers who keep that subscription active. Its allowance will change from 500 old credits to 3,000 new credits, retaining 100 basic generations per month. Eligible existing customers will also receive a one-time gift of 300 new credits, valid for one year from issuance. The gift will not be cleared at monthly renewal and will keep its original expiration date after cancellation or a plan change. No repurchase or manual conversion is required when the migration takes place.
Can I buy additional credits?
An active subscription is required to buy credit packs from account billing: 1,000 credits for $19, 5,000 for $79, or 20,000 for $249. Each pack is valid for 365 days from purchase. Pack credits are separate from your subscription allowance and do not reset when your monthly or yearly plan renews.
